Sources are part of the answer

Every published fault record must link to the primary source captured for that record. The public link allows a reader to confirm wording, product coverage, status colours and operator actions that cannot safely be generalized.

Preferred source order

1. Manufacturer manual or technical bulletin.
2. Manufacturer support database or product support page.
3. Authorized dealer material with an identifiable document and scope.
4. Government or standards material for general safety context.

Community posts and videos may point to a source but do not establish a high-risk repair procedure.

What a source link proves

A source link shows where the recorded description came from. It does not automatically prove that the source covers every model in the brand or every unit in the product family. Pages therefore state whether model, controller, firmware or year coverage is known.

Copyright boundary

Records use short factual descriptions and bibliographic links. The site does not republish complete manuals, protected diagrams or long source passages without permission.

Source availability

External links can move or expire. A broken source triggers review; it does not justify replacing the missing evidence with an AI-generated meaning. Use the correction process to report an unavailable or mismatched source.
