Corrections

How to report a fault-code meaning, source or applicability problem.

What to include

For a useful correction, provide:

  • the Machine Fault Guide page URL;
  • brand and complete model number;
  • controller or firmware when visible;
  • the code exactly as displayed;
  • the suspected problem: meaning, scope, safety guidance, broken source or another issue;
  • a public manufacturer manual, bulletin or support link when available.

Do not upload customer names, addresses, serial numbers tied to a customer, private service documents or other confidential material.

Public correction channel

Open an issue in the Machine Fault Guide GitHub repository when the evidence can be discussed publicly. Use a descriptive title such as “Thermo King Alarm 613 model scope” rather than posting only the code.

Corrections are evaluated against the source and affected product scope. A report does not automatically change a record; unsupported certainty is replaced with an explicit limitation rather than another guess.
